I am a disabled veteran after serving in the Army, on active duty, for 18 years. I been in four tours of combat. I am a proud mother of two grown boys and four precious grandchildren with a loving supportive husband. Growing up I drew with a pencil. As I got older I taught myself how to paint. When the Army medically retired me my art grew. I now paint in oil, acrylic and watercolors, wood burning and car craving, jewelry, last but not least different types of sewing to fill my days. All of these are self taught. You see I fight PTSD with other injuries but I will not lay down and die.
